Wired to the Moon

In 2004, with the backing of the then Prime Minister Tony Blair, Chief Inspector Brian Paddick downgraded cannabis to a Class C drug (giving young people the impression that it was harmless). This single action unleashed evil onto our streets unprecedented in modern times as hundreds of children set themselves up as drug dealers and began to use guns to settle scores in a so-called post code turf war. that in 2008/9 killed 1,760 children alone.

The Governments, now struggling to control the problem responded by sending out armed Police officers with sub-machine guns as routine policing. Meanwhile on the other side of the street, thousands of otherwise healthy children became withdrawn and sullen and were admitted to hospital suffering from cannabis-related mental illnesses sectioned under the Mental Health Act because of behavioural disorders, such as psychosis and schizophrenia.

Typically in 2008 the Liberal Democrat response to all this upheaval was to burry it’s head in the sand and to reward the man responsible, Brian Paddick by asking him to represent them as their preferred candidate for the next Lord Mayor of London . . . . . . discuss.
